- 1 qt. milk
- 1 lb. flour
- 2 lbs. breakfast sausage
- 1 loaf of bread and/or,
- 2 doz. biscuits and/or,
- 1 box saltines crackers
- In a large skillet, 15+ in., or dutch oven, 10+ qt., cook the sausage.
- Once the sausage is browned begin slowly adding flour and milk in equal volumes, stir constantly.
- While cooking the gravy, toast the bread or make the biscuits.
- Once the volume of gravy is adequate serve over toast, bread, biscuits, or crackers.
- Serves 12 to 15 people.
